What you will need!

Saffron Rabdi:

1lt Full fat Milk

15strands Saffron

2ml Rose Water

 

Sugar Syrup

150gms Sugar

150ml Water

2pods Cardamom

 

Ingredients for Assembly:

10slices of English Oven Premium White Bread

Ghee/Oil for frying

2gms Rose Petals

2gms Almonds, sliced

2gms Pistachios, sliced

How to make

Putting it together

Take a heavy bottom pan, add milk and let it come to a boil.

Once the milk has come to a boil, add saffron strands and rose water.

Let it reduce to it half quantity and then add sugar.

Once it thickens up, keep aside to cool down.

Take a saucepan, add sugar and water.

Add cardamom pods and let it come to a boil.

Switch off the flame and let it cool.

Take English Oven Premium White Bread slices and cut out the corners.

Cut the slice into two triangles and keep aside.

Heat oil/ghee for frying, once hot, add the slices to fry until golden brown.

Dip the fried bread slices in the sugar syrup for 30 seconds.

Place the soaked fried bread on a serving plate and top it up with saffron rabdi.

Finish it off with a generous sprinkling of rose petals, almonds and pistachios.
